After a short period of rest, usually 12 hours, it is recommended to avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours. Most patients return to work immediately after the procedure. The results of skin resurfacing and rejuvenation is nearly immediate. Of course, each patient’s skin is unique and post-op convalescence depends on the technology or treatment prescribed for you.
Following your treatment, whether skin resurfacing or rejuvenation, your skin will continue to age naturally. Dr. Diamantis will develop a skin care regimen for you to prolong new skin results.
